A vocal trio with an eclectic musical heritage. The name derives from a mythological band of three poet-musicians in ancient Ireland whose stories and songs came to them from the past and future.      With electric guitar, close harmonies as well as the power of strong unison singing, and oftentimes tribal percussive elements, this deep and dynamic trio draws upon Japanese, Irish, Scottish, and English lore. The pulse behind their performances offers to their audiences a life giving pump to their hearts as well as holding them in a rich sonic atmosphere.  This serendipitous union of Donal Kearney, Zach Trouton, and Michael Mormecha creates a collective chemistry that has been enchanting audiences with potent storytelling and songcraft.  The three members of TRU have created something new and absolutely wonderful.
